How to increase trust?
Trust is acquired which means it is built over time, not in a moment’s time. Some people require many attempts to gain trust in others, which is fine, but it means that others need to try many times to show why they are worthy of being trusted. A good baseline for trusting others is asking if you trust yourself. If you do, then it will make more sense on how to trust others because you are already aware of how it is to trust someone. Trust definitely requires evidence but it also includes the gut feeling and taking risks. Since we do not know what the future entails, taking risks is inevitable. It is better though to “take chances” than to not at all because even in face of the possibility of experiencing hurt and anger, you may experience something special with another person by trusting them.
